(a) It is hereby set forth that the second week of October of each year is designated as 'Puerto Rico Insurance Industry Week'.\n(b) The Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall exhort, by means of proclamation, the agencies and instrumentalities of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rican People, and all the members of the insurance industry of our country to commemorate the second week of October as 'Puerto Rico Insurance Industry Week'.\n(c) The Insurance Commissioner shall adopt the necessary measures to faithfully comply with the purposes of this section by means of the organization and celebration of official activities that acknowledge and highlight the contributions of the insurance industry toward our society in general, and toward the economic development of our country.\nHistory —June 6, 2003, No. 135, §§ 1—3.
