(a) The first week of the month of December of each year is hereby designated as 'Automobile Drag Racing Prevention and Eradication from the Public Roads of Puerto Rico Week'.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall issue an annual proclamation to the Puerto Rican people for all to join in the celebrations set forth herein not later than ten (10) days prior to the beginning of said week.\n(c) The Traffic Safety Commission, the Puerto Rico Police and the Department of Education, as well as other bodies, public entities and the municipalities of Puerto Rico, including the Municipal Police Corps, shall adopt the measures that are necessary for the attainment of the objectives set forth herein, by means of organizing and holding activities to celebrate 'Automobile Drag Racing Prevention and Eradication from the Public Roads of Puerto Rico Week'.\n(d) A copy of the annual proclamation shall be distributed to the mass communications media of the Island for its disclosure and/or publication.\nHistory —Dec. 29, 2003, No. 328, §§ 1—4.
