(a) The 10th day of January of each year is hereby designated to be throughout the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the ' Doña Inés María Mendoza de Muñoz Marín Memorial Day'.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation to that effect, shall urge all Puerto Ricans to carry out activities in recognition of the contribution of Doña Inés María Mendoza de Muñoz Marín to the welfare of our Island on every January 10.\n(c) The Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, in coordination with the Department of Education and the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, shall organize each year activities to commemorate the birthday of Doña Inés María Mendoza de Muñoz Marín, to coincide with the celebration of the Doña Inés María Mendoza de Muñoz Marín Memorial Day, as provided for in this section. The funds needed to develop these commemorative activities shall be consigned annually in the operating expenses budget of the aforementioned government agencies.\nHistory —Sept. 16, 2004, No. 364, §§ 1—3.
