(a) The last Sunday of the month of April is hereby declared to be the 'Puerto Rico National Vintage, Classic and Modified Classic Automobile Day'.\n(b) The Governor of Puerto Rico shall, through a proclamation, urge the people of Puerto Rico to celebrate the 'Puerto Rico National Vintage, Classic and Modified Classic Automobile Day'.\n(c) The Department of Transportation and Public Works shall adopt the measures needed to give compliance to the purposes of this section through the organization and celebration of official activities to acknowledge and give significance to the participation of those citizens and public or private institutions or entities related to vintage automobiles that have contributed to the culture and to the development of the economy and to Puerto Rican society and to maintaining alive a genuine interest in our past, it being part of our cultural and social patrimony.\nHistory —Sept. 30, 2004, No. 535, §§ 1—3.
