(a) The first Monday of May of each year is hereby declared and established as 'University Student’s Day', celebrating the same on 'Education Week', established by § 5044 of this title.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall publish a proclamation in the newspapers of general circulation in Puerto Rico as a reminder of this celebration and shall exhort the universities, public, private, civic, commercial, social and cultural entities to join in the celebration through various activities and programs.\nHistory —Dec. 12, 2007, No. 185, §§ 1, 2.
