(a) The month of August of each year is hereby declared as: 'Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Month in Puerto Rico'.\n(b) The Governor of Puerto Rico shall exhort the People of Puerto Rico through a Proclamation to observe this month.\n(c) The Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Department of Health, the Department of the Family, and the Department of Education, as well as any other institution interested in holding awareness activities, shall be responsible for providing information regarding the significance of this event.\nHistory —Dec. 8, 2010, No. 188, §§ 1–3.
