(a) The third week of February of each year is hereby declared as the 'Puerto Rican Beekeepers Week.'\n(b) Every year, the Governor of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation, shall encourage all Puerto Ricans to recognize the commendable work of the Island’s beekeepers.\n(c) The Department of Agriculture of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall adopt the necessary measures to achieve the purposes of this section by organizing and holding official activities to acknowledge and highlight the contribution of citizens and public or private institutions or entities that promote this agricultural industry.\nHistory —Oct. 1, 2013, No. 114, §§ 1—3.
