The client of a loan, banking or credit institution or a commercial entity which sells merchandise on the installment plan and charges interest therefor, whose gross volume of sales exceeds one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), who does not receive a statement of interest paid, within the term established in § 275 of this title, shall be entitled to present a complaint before the Department of Consumer Affairs to enforce compliance of this chapter. The client’s complaints shall be governed by the adjudication procedures in the Department of Consumer Affairs Organic Act, §§ 341 et seq. of Title 3. History —July 13, 1978, No. 39, p. 501, § 2.
