Any violation of the provisions of this chapter or of regulations promulgated hereunder by the Commissioner of Financial Institutions shall be subject to an administrative fine to be determined by the Commissioner of Financial Institutions, and which shall in no case exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000). Provided, That any director, officer, employee or agent of the Bank who violates or permits any violation of the provisions of this chapter or the regulations promulgated hereunder by the Commissioner of Financial Institutions shall answer personally with his assets for all damages suffered by the corporation, its shareholders or any other person as a result of said violations.
