In the event there is a debt contracted by a participant in which his/her accrued contributions are being used as guarantee, it is hereby provided that the benefits provided for in this chapter shall respond, in the first instance, for outstanding obligations contracted by the participant with the Retirement System. The Retirement System shall require the payment of said debts in monthly installments to be deducted from the participant’s retirement annuity under the Program by the Retirement System Administrator for payment to the Retirement System.\nHistory —Sept. 16, 2004, No. 360, § 4.
