In view of the need to deal immediately with certain infrastructure maintenance needs without having to complete the procedure established in §§ 1382 et seq. of this title, the Committee is hereby authorized to make the disbursements described below:(a) To repair the Melania dam, in Guayama, owned by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico which is in danger of collapsing $2,500,000 (b) To repair the electric systems of the Health Services and Facilities Administration Hospitals $3,900,000 (c) To complete the cost of improvements to the Water Reserve Systems owned by the Health Services and Facilities Administration $1,356,361 History —Aug. 14, 1991, No. 66, p. 326, § 8, retroactive to July 1, 1991.
