For the purpose of providing funds for the development of low-rent housing projects, the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby directed to deliver to the Puerto Rico Housing Authority the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) separated for the year 1943-44 and the additional sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) separated for the year 1944—45 from the fund known as 'Fund for Housing Projects'. Provided, That the Secretary of the Treasury shall deliver said sums on such dates as the Puerto Rico Housing Authority may request same.
