The Secretary of Housing is hereby authorized to create a program to subsidize the monthly mortgage payment and part of the down payment of low or moderate-income families or individuals through the Housing Finance Authority of Puerto Rico to help low or moderate-income families or individuals to acquire newly constructed or existing homes located in projects approved by the Department of Housing or its attached bodies, or jointly with any municipality of Puerto Rico.\nHistory —Dec. 10, 1993, No. 124, § 3; Sept. 29, 2004, No. 498, § 1.
