In establishing and enforcing the strategic plan, the Department of Housing and the Cooperative Development Commission shall develop the mechanisms needed to ensure that they work in an integrated and effective manner. They shall consult with and involve federal, state, and municipal entities concerned with affordable housing and the financing of these types of projects in order to include federal multi-family housing subsidy programs and municipal housing development plans. Financing shall be obtained through the applicable assured guaranties, and financial cooperative entities, the Cooperative Investment and Development Fund (FIDECOOP), and the Housing Finance Authority (AFV) may also participate.\nHistory —July 27, 2011, No. 147, § 9.
