Every candidate or aspirant shall appoint a treasurer to his/her campaign committee, who shall be a resident of Puerto Rico.(a) The campaign committee treasurer shall include his/her written acceptance to such office in the statement of organization.(b) The candidate or aspirant may designate a deputy treasurer to carry out the duties of the treasurer when the latter is unable to do so. The deputy treasurer shall also be a resident of Puerto Rico and his/her appointment shall be included in the statement of organization of the committee.
