It shall be unlawful for a juridical person, either directly or indirectly, to make unlawful contributions of money, goods, services, or anything of value to a political party, aspirant, candidate, campaign committee, political action committee, or public official for any campaign or activity for the purpose of influencing their election. Any juridical person that violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fifteen thousand dollar ($15,000)-fine. In cases of recurrence, it shall be punished by a fine that shall not exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). The Officer of the Election Comptroller may also request from the Secretary of State of Puerto Rico and obtain from him/her the cancellation of the certificate of incorporation, the dissolution, the suspension of activities, or the revocation of the license of the corporation, as the case may be.The criminal action for this felony shall prescribe within five (5) years.
