Any person who deliberately, willingly, and knowingly files or signs a false report of contributions received and expenditures made or any other report required under this chapter, which must be certified, with the specific intent to deceive, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for a term of not less than one (1) year nor more than three (3) years.The criminal action for this felony shall prescribe in five (5) years.
