Polling places shall begin their canvassing process with the presidential ballots, before they open the ballot boxes for the canvassing of the ballots to vote for the offices of Governor and Resident Commissioner, legislators, and mayors.The results of said canvassing shall be recorded in a 'Presidential Election Polling Place Canvassing Report' upon completion of the report, and only then, shall the canvassing of the remaining ballots be undertaken.The Presidential Election Report shall be delivered to the Electoral Unit Board, so that the Board may complete the voting tally of all the polling places in its unit.The Chairperson of the Commonwealth Elections Commission and the electoral representatives of the candidates shall provide the way and manner in which the canvassing processes are to be conducted through regulations to that effect and pursuant to the provisions of the Electoral Law and this chapter.
