A referendum shall be held on August 19, 2012, in which a proposal shall be submitted to the People of Puerto Rico so they may vote to amend Sections 2, 3, and 7 of Article III of the Constitution of Puerto Rico in order to reduce the number of legislators in the Legislative Assembly.The State Election Commission shall notify the referendum through a proclamation, which shall be published at least ninety (90) days in advance of such referendum, in three (3) newspapers of general circulation in Puerto Rico.
