The Secretary and the Deputy Secretaries shall carry out the functions delegated unto them by this subtitle, as well as any other functions assigned to them by the Commission. The Secretary and Deputy Secretaries shall earn the salary fixed through regulations, which shall not be greater than or equal to that of the Secretary. These officials may avail themselves of the benefits of a Retirement System or Retirement System Investment Plan provided by the Government of Puerto Rico or any other in which they were enrolled or participating as of the date of their appointment.\nThe Commission through regulations shall establish the duties and functions of the Deputy Secretaries.\nHistory —June 1, 2011, No. 78, § 3.011.
