Endorsement petitions for primaries need not be sworn before an ad hoc notary. The Commission shall prescribe by regulations the requirements to be met by officials authorized to take endorsement signatures. Furthermore, the Commission shall prescribe by regulations the necessary safeguards that must be observed by said officials, which shall include a certification in the endorsement petition establishing accurately the identity of the voter or the identification method used to do so.\nHistory —June 1, 2011, No. 78, § 8.014; Dec. 22, 2014, No. 239, § 32.
