Any person who willfully violates any rule or regulation of the Commission, adopted and promulgated as authorized in this subtitle, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months or a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500), or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.\nThis sanction shall not apply to matters and controversies under the jurisdiction of the Chair, which entail the imposition of administrative fines pursuant to the provisions of § 4019(o) of this title.\nHistory —June 1, 2011, No. 78, § 12.007.
