(a) By Department. — Any mistakes by the Department shall be rectified by the Secretary, either motu proprio or by petition of a party. The Secretary shall issue a new document with corrections made, which shall have the same effect as the one originally issued.(b) By applicant. — Any mistakes by the Department which are attributable to the applicant shall be rectified by the Secretary, either motu proprio or by petition of a party.
