Any investment company registered pursuant to this chapter shall pay to the Secretary a registration fee at the rate of 3 / 1 0 0 percent (0.03%) of the total dollar value of the capital stock issued or intended to be issued by the investment company. Said dollar value shall be the par value or the subscription price of such capital stock, whichever of the two is greater. In case of additional stock issues an additional registration fee computed on the basis of the same rate shall be paid in advance.
