Special partners cannot enquire into the condition and situation of the business of the partnership except at the times and under the penalties prescribed in the articles of copartnership or in additional ones.\nShould the articles not contain any provision of this character the balance of the copartnership shall be communicated to the special partners at the end of the year without fail, exhibiting for a period not less than fifteen days the exact data and documents proving said balance and permitting the transactions to be understood.\nHistory —Commerce Code, 1932, § 127.
