If an agent, under due authorization, sells on time, he must so state it in the account or in the communication to the principal, informing him of the names of the purchasers; and should he not do so, the sale shall be considered as made for cash, insofar as the principal is concerned.\nHistory —Commerce Code, 1932, § 189.
