As of January 1, 2003 and for the term deemed necessary, the Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs shall conduct an educational campaign to provide orientation to the population on the use and benefits of the V-Chip. To that end, the Secretary may request and obtain the cooperation of any public or municipal agency or instrumentality. The Secretary may furthermore request the cooperation and sponsorship of the private sector in order to carry out any activity directed towards complying with the purposes of this chapter, subject to the applicable laws.\nHistory —Aug. 9, 2002, No. 143, § 3, eff. 90 days after Aug. 9, 2002.
