Unless it is otherwise provided in this chapter, a textile product shall be considered falsely labeled:\n(1) When a false or deceitful seal or label is adhered on it, regarding the contents of said product, or if the invoice or bill of lading enclosed with said textile product contains information which does not adjust to the nature or composition thereof, or is false;\n(2) when, in the advertisement of the product, reference is made to an animal, unless the product or the part of the product labeled with such reference really contains the skin of said animal;\n(3) when dealing with a used product, used to stuff a mattress, cushion, or upholstery and it does not have a notice on its label or seal indicating that it has been previously used to stuff another product;\n(4) when it does not include the name of the country where the product was manufactured or processed.\nHistory —June 14, 1980, No. 134, p. 500, § 4, eff. 180 days after June 14, 1980.
