From the effective date of this act, no person may engage in the purchase of precious metals or precious stones without having first obtained the corresponding license issued by the Secretary of the Treasury of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.\nHistory —Sept. 21, 1983, No. 18, p. 401, § 2, eff. 60 days after Sept. 21, 1983.
