Officials and employees of the Department of the Treasury who, in the discharge of their duties under the authority of §§ 31601 et seq. of this title, commit acts that constitute a crime, as classified in the Penal Code of Puerto Rico of 2004, §§ 4629 et seq. of Title 33, shall also be subject to such disciplinary sanctions as the Secretary may provide through regulations.
