The Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized to pay to the collectors contracted pursuant to this chapter, a commission that shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the total sum collected, and which shall be in proportion to the indebted amount. History —June 8, 2000, No. 95, § 9.
