The Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico is authorized to reimburse the officers, non-commissioned officers, and members of the Armed Forces of the United States in Puerto Rico, and of the Coast Guard Service of the Federal Government, the taxes which they may have paid on any motor vehicle brought by them on their arrival at Puerto Rico, provided that such motor vehicles are reshipped upon their being transferred outside of Puerto Rico or removed from the service, within the twelve (12) months following the arrival of the claimant at Puerto Rico.\nHistory —May 11, 1942, No. 202, p. 1038, § 1.
