All distillers who are now using a process of distillation which involves the use of processes or materials such as wood, chunks or pieces of wood, wood pulp or scrap, wood shavings or sawdust, in any manner, either in their natural state or burnt, heated or toasted, fruits, seeds, or any other substances, to impart color or flavor to rum, shall be obliged to discontinue the practice within the term of ninety (90) days from the date this act takes effect, unless payment is made of the corresponding federal rectification tax.\nHistory —May 12, 1942, No. 215, p. 1146, § 4, eff. 90 days after May 12, 1942.
