There shall be levied, collected and paid, in addition to any other income tax in force, a tax equal to eighty percent (80%) on the unfair profiteering obtained by any taxpayer; Provided, That this tax shall not be levied in those cases where the amount of the tax covered by the reimbursement applied for is less than fifty (50) dollars.\nHistory —Apr. 6, 1946, No. 286, p. 664, art. 1, § 5; Apr. 20, 1949, No. 56, p. 142.
