Any person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor may solicit that the Police Superintendent eliminate the conviction from the Criminal Record Certificate through a sworn statement, accompanied by the pertinent documents and a twenty (20) dollar internal revenue stamp, provided the following circumstances concur:(a) That six (6) months have passed from the moment the sentence was served and that during that time the person has not committed another crime, and(b) that the person has a good reputation within the community.
