Any person who knowingly and voluntarily discloses or makes improper use of the DNA analysis information of the results obtained in the process of taking a sample, or the sample itself, or of any information contained in the DNA Data Bank; or who violates the provisions or regulations promulgated to such effect, shall incur a misdemeanor. Furthermore, the court shall always impose to the person convicted the penalty of restitution for the damages caused, and shall order the cancellation of any license or permit that has been issued by the State.\nHistory —July 24, 1998, No. 175, § 14; Sept. 29, 2004, No. 527, § 2, eff.
