The following are subject to guardianship:(1) Minors not lawfully emancipated.(2) Demented or insane persons, although they may have lucid moments, and deaf-mutes who cannot understand or communicate effectively by any means.(3) Prodigals or habitual drunkards declared [as] such by final judgment.(4) [Repealed.
