The inventory shall be presented in the Court of First Instance which, after approving it, shall order an appraisal of all the property by an impartial and competent person, whom to such effects, it shall appoint to its satisfaction. Nevertheless, through a resolution to such effects and for just cause in benefit of the best interests of the ward, the court may dispense the appraisal of the property.After the appraisal of the property has been made, and once it has been approved by the court, it shall order that the property inventoried and appraised be recorded in the proper place in the registry of tutorships.The appraiser shall fulfill his duty, under oath made in accordance with the law, and shall receive the remuneration which the Court of First Instance shall prescribe.
