A tutor who shall be replaced by another, as also the heirs of the former, shall be required to render a general account of the tutorship to the person replacing him, which account shall be examined and audited in the manner provided in the preceding section. The new tutor shall be responsible to the minor for all damages and injuries, if he does not demand and examine the accounts of his predecessor. History —Civil Code, 1930, § 219.
