The balance which the general accounts may show in favor of or against the tutor shall bear interest at the legal rate.In the first case, from the time the minor is requested to pay such balance, after the delivery of his property.In the second case, from the time the accounts have been rendered, if presented within the legal term, and if not, from the time such term expires.
