Puerto Rico Legal Code
The fee for filing and application for a timeshare or a vacation club permit shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus three dollars ($3.00) for each seven (7) days (or portions thereof) of annual use available to be offered to prospective purchasers of timeshares or vacation club rights in Puerto Rico. The Company shall, by regulation, establish filing fees that are lower than the ones stated above if it determines that its costs and expenses incurred in reviewing applications justify such lower fees; and may, by regulation, establish fees that are higher than the ones established above, if it determines that its costs and expenses incurred in reviewing applications justify such higher fees.The Company may conduct an inspection of the timeshare or vacation club property or properties and may engage an independent consultant to review the budget for the timeshare plan or vacation club.
