The possession of hereditary property is understood as transferred to the heir without interruption and from the moment of the death of the testator, in case the inheritance be accepted.\nAny person who rejects an inheritance in a valid manner is considered as never to have possessed the same.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 369.
