The person granted the use or the right of habitation is obliged to make use of the thing of which he has the use or habitation, with the care and attention of a good father of a family, and to return it to the owner at the end of the period of such use or habitation, in the same condition in which he received it, and he shall be responsible for whatever damages it may have received by reason of neglect or fraud on his part.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 462.
