Servitudes may be continuous or discontinuous, apparent or not apparent.\nContinuous servitudes are those the use of which is or may be uninterrupted, without the intervention of any human act.\nDiscontinuous servitudes are those used at long or short intervals, and which depend upon human acts.\nApparent servitudes are those which are indicated and which are continually in sight by external signs, which reveal the use and benefit of the same.\nServitudes may be continuous or discontinuous, apparent or not of their existence.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 468.
