The owner of land encumbered by a servitude of pasturage may redeem it by paying the value thereof to those having the right thereto.\nIn default of any agreement, the amount of the said redemption shall be fixed upon the basis of four percent of the annual value of the pasturage fixed by an expert appraisement.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 539.
