A gift may also be revoked at the instance of the donor, by reason of ingratitude, in the following cases:\n(1) When the donee commits any crime against the person, the honor, or the property of the donor.\n(2) When the donee charges the donor with any of the crimes giving rise to official proceedings or public accusation, even though he proves it, unless the crime should have been committed against the donee himself, his wife, or the children under his authority.\n(3) When the latter improperly refuses him support.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 590.
