The Governor of Puerto Rico is authorized and directed to execute a public instrument or deed ceding to the University of Puerto Rico all the real and personal property that the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico may hereafter acquire by ab intestato inheritance under the provisions of § 2691, and preceding similar sections of this title, devoted to the Permanent Fund of the University, with the exception of arable lands, which shall be transferred by the Governor, in like manner, to the Land Authority of Puerto Rico.\nHistory —May 4, 1939, No. 86, p. 492, § 2; May 5, 1945, No. 60, p. 218, § 2;.
