In order that a testamentary succession in the right of accretion may take place it is necessary:\n(1) That two or more persons are designated to the same inheritance or to the same portion thereof without a special designation of shares.\n(2) That one of the persons designated dies before the testator or renounces the inheritance or is disqualified to receive it.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 937.
