The heir shall lose the benefit of inventory:\n(1) If having knowledge thereof he fails to include in the inventory any of the property, rights, or actions of the inheritance.\n(2) If before concluding the liquidation of the debts and legacies he should alienate any property of the estate without judicial authorization, or that of all the persons interested, or if he should not apply the value of what is sold in the manner specified at the time the authorization was granted him.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 978.
