After the consignation has been duly made the debtor may request the court or judge to order the cancellation of the obligation.\nUntil the creditor may accept the consignation or a judicial decision should be rendered that it was properly done, the debtor may withdraw the thing or amount consigned, leaving the obligation in force.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 1134.
